We measured the court's,lines, rishbins, hoops, walls, nets and a few more things.
We had to get into groups of four or five and measure things. After we had finished we put the measurements down on paper.

Tables

Dear Ms Beaumont

BBQ tables!
Why do we need BBQ tables? Will one reason is because when you are sitting on the sets eating your lunch you can only really talk and look at the person to your left and right. also if we get them we can then socialise and talk to one another therefore we can talk. Some other reasons are... that food doesn’t go onto the ground sometimes the ground is cold and not so nice to sit on. If  we have the BBQ tables. We can also learn as a class outside on the tables.  When people buy food from the canteen they walk around and there rubbish goes everywhere they could sit on the BBQ tables then that way the rubbish won’t be all over the school.

How can we get money or fundraise?

~ Jobs around home.
~ Bake sale.
~ Grange sale.
~ Raffle ticket
~ Helping other people around your area - Walking dogs\ Washing cars.
These ideas would be a good plan to fundraise and get the money to buy the BBQ tables because we really really need them in the sheppard area!

The price of the BBQ tables: $190

Change makers!!

                                                                CHANGE MAKERS!

Today we had a man come into room 12 and tell as about how you can change things in this world only using  just your head and hands. And that amazing man was Garth Mcvicar if you have a dream then make it become real don't just sit around and do nothing follow your dreams just like Garth Mcvicar did if you have a dream make it come ture.

Writhing task!

Today in class we were writing show not tell stories and this is mine.

One Very hot and sunny day Children were swimming happily in nice cool water and the mums and dads of all the children were relaxing on the golden sandpaper beneath their bodies. All of a sudden there is a BIG loud sound coming from somewhere in the clouds but no one cares to take a look and then... Falling from the clouds was a flying machine heading towards ground people were scattered all along the shore the children got out of the glistening water and ran to their mum’s and dad’s. Everyone was screaming and running for their lives.

My speech

INTRO~ well they are really really disgusting little things and you can't look at them with out saying the word EWWWWW...because they are that bad looking. an old wives tale is to sell or buy warts.

How do they grow? well it really just depends on what kind of wart you have so like if you have common warts then they grow around hard and dry parts of the body like where cuts and scratches are mostly. well warts are a small and hard growth on the skin caused by a virus that appears on a person's body and look like a blister or a small cauliflower.

10 FACTS!

~ warts can be painful.

~ warts can cause cancer.

~ when you have a wart or are starting to get one it is in your DNA for life.

~ wart can appear anywhere on the body even on the lip.

~ warts can be removed and treated.

~  Warts are contagious and can easily spread to others.

~  Warts will eventually disappear on their own.

~  When you have a wart and pick at it you can get a tel down your back because the root to the wart is really breaking.

There are lots of ways to get warts to go away and i am only going to say a few of them.

3 of the best tips for google learning.

1. Use quotes to search for an exact phrase.
this one’s a well-known, simple trick: searching a phrase in quotes will yield only pages with the same words in the same order as what’s in the quotes. It’s one of the most vital search tips, especially useful if you’re trying to find results containing a specific a phrase.

2. Search websites for keywords.

think of the “site:” function as a Google search that searches only a particular website. If you want to see every time TIME.com mentioned Google, use the search “Google site:TIME.com”.

3. Search images for images.
ever come across a photo that looks strangely familiar? Or if you want to know where it came from? If you save the image, and then search it on Google Images (with the camera button), you’ll be able to see similar images on the web.

Hair.

Why do we have hair? Do you know that you have hair all over your body and you probably want to know why? Well there is lots of reasons why like the hair on your head is to keep you warm and eyebrows keep the sweat away from your eyes and the hair in your nose is to keep the dust away and those are just some things that hair does.

How much hair comes out a day?  Up to 50-100 strands a day.

What colours can your hair come in? Your hair can come in lots of Lengths, colors, size and more your hair can come in blond and that means that your hair has less melanin in it and people with brown hair have more melanin in your hair so the darker your hair is the more melanin is in your hair.

How hair grows? There are hair follicles in your skin and at the bottom of the of it is a hair bulb and when the hair grows out of your skin the hair cells die and that is why when you cut your hair you can’t feel it and it doesn’t hurt.
